I found a hobby box maker online - from memory he lived near the English/Welsh border. One of his boxes interested me, but to my eye was too square. So I adapted it by turning it into a bow front. The site that this box was on has since vanished, so unfortunately I cannot give due credit.

Since I was working with the last small pieces of this piece of timber, the sides and back are in a tongue and groove style, which goes well with any colonial collection.

The wood is Oil-soaked Matai, which has given this piece of timber a unique appearance.
