While I was assembling my first box (3-in-1 Box), I realised that this pattern would fit well on a table screen. This is the result. The screen folds and fits into its own Storage Box .

The symbols on the side are the eight Taoist symbols (separated by a star), from the I Ching book of self revelation, representing self. The lower pattern is Chinese not Celtic, and here represents the endless cycle of the renewal of life. The moon window represents looking to the past, or from the reverse side, looking forward, as the reverse side is black and blank.

The reverse is covered with black leather; two-way brass hinges allow the screen to fold in either direction.

All timber is Demolition Matai. This screen shows the colour changes seen in the darker timber which really comes to life with Danish oil.
